ROOM 4 ON FIRE!
Science experiments
Today we did an mini science experiment. We set a tea bag on fire. The tea bag was caused to go up because of the air inside the tea bag when it was shaped to a cylinder. The heat of the fire made the hair in the tea bag have more energy and so the tea bag was going up because of the heat.

Best Friends!
Life with Best Friends and Friends.
We are three best friends including me Lucy, Thet Htar along with a friend Thida. Throughout this year we had so much struggles but it was worth it, we learnt what good friends do and are like. Take a look at each paragraph carefully and you'll see some facts facts and some things you might of not knowing about our friendships.
I come from family that is from Fiji though i was born in New Zealand age of 12. My two best friends are like my sisters we always have each others back. Though sometimes we do bring out our feeling to other people when they mess around with our friends, i have a personality of tolerant and civil. Since you’ve been around i’ve smiled a lot.
Lucy is from a Samoan and Tongan family and she at the age of 11 she has a lot of good things about her. Number one she is like a sister to me, she is kind and questioning in a good way but when you put her off she is wild. Either way she is really beautiful and has a great personality. She reminds me of a quote online,
Best friends are never apart maybe in distance but never in heart.
Thet Htar is from Myanmar and she is so kind, although she does get tempted sometimes. She has a really good sense of telling stories that happened in her country and in her life. She is like a sister to me also. A best friend is like a clover : hard to find and lucky to have.
Thida is from Myanmar too she is 11 years old. Thida is a really entertaining person in our group she just makes everyone laugh. The quote that really relies to her is You laugh I laugh. You cry I cry. You fall, I laugh then i fall to because i was laughing too hard.
I am so happy to have such good friends when we disagree we somehow make up for it. I like my friends Lucy, Thet Htar, Thida.

Why we need test??
Why we need tests?
“Miss why do we have to have tests”. Well this essay will explain everything about it. People get frantic when it comes to school tests well this is a essay that will explain to you what the purpose of tests are.
Do we really need tests? Well yes we do, we get tested so that teachers will get an understanding students knowledge that way it makes it easier for them to know what you still have to learn and what you have already learnt.
Another point is some kids are not that educated without tests the teachers would not be able to teach the students and thereafter they will not know anything. So in a way it helps your teachers. But it also helps you learn how much more things you are still left to learn.
Just one thing that i don’t ever get that somethings we get tested on are things we have never been taught. But besides one of my issues I hope you guys understood why we need tests. What do you think we need tests.

How to look after your body?
How to look after your body
We are learning to follow the Statement, Explanation, Example paragraph structure.
Write your explanation here. Check that it follows the structure of an explanation!
This week our topic is How To Look After your body. Here are some ideas on what you need to do to look after your body. The first way to look after our body is our diet. Our diets can go wrong sometimes but if you keep record of what to eat and when to eat them then you will never go wrong. Eating Fruits and Vegetables is very important for our bodies, if we eat junk food or things that are not really good for us our bodies won’t have any nutrients or vitamins. So make sure you eat a lot of ingredients that have Vitamins and healthy nutrients.
Our body also needs hydration. Without any water you will probably die. Did you know that about %60 of our bodies are water (fact). We need to drink plenty of water so that our body will maintain the balance of our body fluids. When we drink enough water we are able to focus and concentrate.
Lastly sleep is very important. Why do we need to sleep? Without any sleep we will be irritated and drowsy. We need to maintain about 7 - 9 hours of sleep so when we wake up in the morning we will be wide awake and good to go. So remember to have a good night sleep.
Here are some tips on how we could look after our bodies. What do you think that will help our bodies be looked after for? Now let's change ourselves and become healthier.

Life in 2048!
New Zealand in 2048
This essay represent one view of what 2048 might look like. These topics and paragraphs are not what you have to believe but are my perspective on the topic.
Environment:
The environment in 2048 from my perspective is that everything will be taken to a higher level. Rubbish bins might be similar to robots, so you put rubbish into the bin and it sorts them out to its actual bin, or robots picking up rubbish you never know that could be true.
Para 2 Technology
The next topic is technology. Technology will be like a next level thing more technology more wildness I bet people will be twice as antisocial as they are right now. It seems like people won't be able to live without any technology, they have to have something that relates to technology.
Para 3 Education: Our next topic is education. Education will be different, trust me there will be a lot of difference in education both ways through teachers and students. Even further there might be a time where a student steps in the class and sees a robot teacher which is hectic, you are being educated by an robot. Thats WILD.
Conclusion Summarise: Overall I think that 2048 and further years to come will be more and more wild they will have a lot of different things happening. An example is every year a new Iphone comes out this year Iphone X next year there might be Iphone Y you never know what other crazy things could happen. If you do have any other things you would want to consist or would want to suggest please comment so at least I can learn something.

Assembly!
It is Tongan Language week and our school had an amazing assembly. So in assembly what basically happened was we went to assembly and Mr Wiseman, Mr Sommerville and two other people who I don't really know but anyways they were playing an amazing band it was great while entering the hall and leaving the hall they had good instrument playing. So one of the fun parts were when the Tongan performers went up. They had a really nice and beautiful performance. Next good thing was when Ms Va'afusuaga (Sports teacher) said that there is one team of yr 5 & 6’s that are going on a plane to Wellington this Sunday, that is amazing they are gonna vs a whole bunch of other rugby teams and I am really wanting to know how they are gonna play and who wins. The 3rd things was when Miss Moran and Miss Haare went on stage to do jump jam and it was wild everyone was moving and having fun. Today was and amazing Assembly

Slavery Writing
The history of slaves.
Slavery started in ancient egypt over 2000 years ago. It became very popular further in time. People became really used to Slaves and it was normal to have one. Slavery has happened in lots of different countries like India, China, Pakistan and Russia. They were really used to slaves and without them they were almost lost.
But here in New Zealand there is no need for slaves and most countries don’t have them anymore. It's much better to do things yourself and let others do things themselves as well because then you will know how everything needs to be done. My approach is be independant do things yourself it’s not that nice to see someone else serve you it looks a bit like you are lazy.

Malala's quote and facts.
- Malala spoke of the right of education of every child on July 12th, 2013.
- She originally wanted to be a doctor
- Her father used to be a schoolmaster
- She was just awarded over half a million dollars.
Quotes from Malala yousafzai:
- When the world is silent even one voice becomes powerful
- If one man can destroy everything, why can’t a girl change it
- With guns you can kill terrorists and with education you can kill tourism
- Life isn’t just about taking in oxygen and giving out carbon dioxide
- We were scared but our fears was not as strong as our courage
- There should be no discrimination against languages people speak, skin color or religion.
- If you go anywhere even paradise you will miss home.
- The more you speak against islam and against all muslims, the more terrorists it will create.
- Islam says that it is not only each child’s right to get education. Rather it is their duty and responsibility.
- If your intention is to stop terrorism, do not try to the whole population of Muslims for it because it cannot stop terrorism. It will radicalise more terrorists.

My trip to Fiji in 2014
In 2014 a girl named Nasibah which is me and her family had a wedding to go to in Fiji. Everything was planned and then when it came to that day when they had their flight. Nasibah was really looking forward to it and so was her family they got to the Auckland Airport and they went through security and everything was fine. But right when the plane was taking off i had forgotten something. At that moment i was just worried if everything was fine. Back home we had Chickens along with 3 chicks and i had forgotten to feed them and lock them into their chicken coop. I thought to myself what if the chicken and chicks had ran away or someone took them. I was terrified. But then i asked my mum and she said “instead of worrying just enjoy your time on the plane and Fiji”. Then i sat back and was about to fall asleep…….when we landed we got off the plane and as soon as I put one foot on Fiji land i could feel the heat and I ran inside the airport and i waited for my parents as soon as we went in there was 2 men standing at the entrance and was playing a ukulele and singing a Fijian song. We went through security again and then we waited for our pick up person, while we were waiting my dad went to one of the shops to get a sim card or whatever and then he came back just in time when we were getting into the car. While we were waiting to go to our uncles house we were looking around and i asked my mum where is the street lights and she replied there is no street lights apart for some of them. When we reached to our destination my aunty started putting henna/ Mehndi on my hand because the wedding was in 2 days. She made a beautiful design. Over there i met up with my other cousin which i'm really close to and she came from Auckland as well. She was getting her henna done as well. Me and my cousin were the flower girl and it was a fun time. When we were going back to Nz i was really sad because we had a lot of fun over at Fiji. And i had eaten the most coconut, Paw paw, Mango of my life. I really want to go Fiji again but not this year.

Their dream!!
One evening after school Lucy was going to sleep and so was Nasibah at their home they messaged
each other goodnight and went to sleep Nasibah had a really cool dream. Nasibah’s dream was that in
the morning she woke up and her parents had planned that they would be going to Australia in a plane.
In the morning when she actually woke up she looked around and said wait that was all a dream she
was gutted that she was really excited in her dream and it's not even true. On the other hand Lucy had a
dream that she was trapped in a haunted house when she was trying to see how it looked like. She was
roaming around in the house to find a way to exit but she was fully trapped. When she woke up in the
morning in real life she was terrified that it was a horrible dream. They both told each other the full story/

My holiday!!
This holiday might have just been the best so far this year 2018. So our road trip from Auckland was straight to Taupo along with a stop at Hamilton. So when we reached to our Hotel/ Motel it was like 4:30 or like in between, we went over to our Friends hotel room and we had some delicious food. And then we had planned to go to warehouse and then to the Debrrets. It was a fun resort type pool that we could swim, relax and stay. We stayed there for a while and then we went back home. The next day we went to the Snow Mountain it was a lot of fun. We went sledding which was really fun and cold. I threw snowballs at my brother and my friends and same thing came back to me, but we had a big heap of fun.
After the Snow Mountain we went to Palmerston North to my Nan's house in Fielding and it was amazing. On Thursday we went to Lido I went in the indoor Hydro Slides and it was so fun like i cannot explain how fun it was. And we have now come back to Auckland which is sad because im away from my cousins. But i would love to know and see what you people have been doing through out this term 2 Holiday.
By the way the links are for you to see which place am i talking about and for you to have better understanding of where i went:)
