This week in room 2 math we are learning to take risks in to sharing our math thinking's. In my group was Jarreka and Hope, together we managed  to find the answer to our equations.

German Folk Dance

German Folk Dance is a traditional dance in the country named Germany. Germany is located in the European continent. Each region in Germany has their own variety of dances. Some of the most known dances are originated from Austria. In German dances the gender plays a major role because the German folk dance caused people to meet their future partner.

Well this week in room 1 part of our inquiry rotations we had the pleasure of trying the German Folk Dance. We had to get in to pairs and form a group of four. Then we had practiced the dance by watching a couple of videos about the German Folk Dance. In my group was Lucy, ThetHtar, Maria. We thought that the German Folk dance is a really different and unique dance because there is more hand movements.

How to be a good learner?

Do you think you are a good learner. Well to be a good learner you need to be really engaged into
what you are doing you need to be hardworking and you need to collaborate with others.

Did you know if you are engaged in your learning you are already a step ahead in being a good
student. A good learner needs to be engaged in their learning at all times, for example when you
are learning about a specific topic ask question if you can answer questions then go for it! 

Are you a hardworking person when it comes to learning? For example you are given a task that
needs to be finished in an hour or so you need to work hard so that you actually finish in time.
This is why you need to be really hard working.

Lastly, collaborating and socializing with others also gives you a chance to become a good
learner. By listening to other people's ideas you will be inspired to do good together. It is also
good for you to share ideas with others that you will learn more.

These are the three main points on ways to be a good learner. If you put these points in your
mind, you will be a successful learner.

Do we really need School Holidays?

Do we really need school holidays?

Do we need a School Holiday? School holidays are much needed so that we could have a break from
learning, we need to spend time with our family and so that after the Holidays we are ready to learn.

Children need school holidays to relax! For example, young children need time to be a kid and play with
toys and older children need to have some time with their friends. If we don’t have school holidays we
will end up being overwhelmed.

Do you get to spend time with your family during the school holidays? The school holidays give children
time so that they could spend time with their family. A lot of times parents are working and children are
often at school so there is no communication with your family, this is why school holidays are much
needed.

After school holidays do you have an energized feeling for school? Well during school holidays children
are more put back into their position so that after the school holidays children are energized and more
interested in learning. This is why we need school holidays to reset our minds.

I hope this essay gave you a clear thought on why I think that we need school holidays. I am saying yes
we need more and longer school holidays. This is why I think that the school holidays are much needed.

How to be a Good Daughter.

Do you think that you are a good daughter? To be a daughter you need to listen
, you need to be helpful and grateful. This essay will explain how to be a good
daughter.

Do you listen to your parents? The first, most effective way of being a good
daughter is to listen. For example, if your mum has asked you to do something
you have to listen and conduct what she has said. If you start listening to what
your parents have said you will move close to being a good daughter and
showing how responsible you are.

Daughters can be dependent on their parents. For example, some daughters
always wait for their parents to do things for them, the daughters always end up
asking the parents to do things for them. In reality, every daughter needs to be
independent and needs to know how to do things on their own. This will give
parents more time to themselves

The most important way to be a good daughter is to appreciate everything that
they do for you. To appreciate them you can give them gifts or cards, and
spend time with them so that they will know that you do care about their effort. 

This essay has given you some clear information on how to be a good
daughter. I hope that after reading this essay you can relate to yourself and
hopefully change your daily habits towards your parents.

Against School Uniforms.

How do you feel about wearing mufti? Some schools in New Zealand required  school uniforms
whereas some don’t. Students should be allowed to wear mufti because Mufti clothes are
comfortable, Mufti lets kids express themselves and school uniforms are expensive.

Wearing mufti is better because you are wearing clothes that are comfortable. Students could
have a limited amount of uniforms and it could be dirty or wet and so the next day they would no
uniform to wear, whereas when you are wearing mufti you have many choices and you no limit
in clothes. Therefore students should be allowed to wear mufti to school.

School uniforms can be extremely expensive. At some schools, a school tshirt can be as
expensive as $100. Also, not everyone can afford to pay that much for a pair of uniform, and
kids grow which means clothes could get tighter and parents have to keep buying new clothes.

Kids should have the right to express themselves. Wearing mufti can let kids show their
creativity and individuality. Whereas when your are wearing school uniform you really don’t
show your creativity and everyone looks the same.

This is my argument against School uniforms. I hope that this essay will give you a clear
thought about why I think that kids should be able to wear mufti rather than school uniforms.

What are your thoughts on animal testing? This is an ongoing argument that everyone debates
on. Animal testing should be banned because animal testing is not always sucessfull, we lose
more than 100 million animals in a year and animal testing is NOT necessary. 

More than 90% of animal experiments fails to lead to treatments for humans. More than 95% of
medical drugs that test safe in animals fail in human clinical trials. So what is the point of testing
animals when 90% - 95% of experiments fail.

Each year more than 100 million animals including mice, rats, cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters,
monkeys, fish and birds are killed in the U.S due to animal testing. In 5 years approximately 500
million animals are killed which is insane.

Animal testing is NOT necessary. Most animals don’t get human diseases so there is point
testing on animals. Instead of testing on animals we can make a machine or something that cure
sickness for humans so we can actually save the animals.

Here are some of my thoughts on animal testing, althougth animal testing is really brutal. I would
not recommend doing animal testing personally but everyone has their own point on weather or
not to do animal tesing.

the parts I mean questions about testing on animals some of theses questions

are different from some of the questions. These question is about the animals

about if they felt anything when they were doing stuff on the pets and animals

its sad how they were using the animals for experiments I hope you understand the

 information about the text we just finish recording.
